Mass Communication

O'level: 5 O'level credits to include English Language, Mathematics (see note), Literature in English, one Science subject and one other subject obtained at not more than two sittings. Note: certificates from the 2017/2018 session require a Credit in Maths while certificates obtained before 2017/2018 require a Pass in Maths. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD): The candidate must be a graduate of Nnamdi Azikiwe University or a recognized University with at least a Third Class degree or a minimum of Upper Credit in the Higher National Diploma, HND, from a recognized Institution. Master's Degree (MSc): The candidate must have a first degree in Mass Communication with an FCGPA of not less than 3.0 from Nnamdi Azikiwe University or a recognized University. A candidate with a Postgraduate Diploma in Mass Communication with an FCGPA of not less than 3.50 may also be admitted provided the University Matriculation requirements are satisfied. Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree: A candidate who holds a master's degree in Mass Communication with an FCGPA not less than 3.50 on a 5 Point Scale or an average of 60%, from Nnamdi Azikiwe University or a recognized University may be admitted provided the University Matriculation requirement is satisfied.
